Help the Open University of Israel (OUI) Open the Treasures of the Mind

OUI is proud to educate one of every six students in Israel through its leading-edge educational technologies and commitment to Distance Learning. Supporting OUI offers one of the most unique opportunities to change the lives of thousands of individuals living in Israel by tapping the enormous wealth of talent embedded in Israel’s multi-cultural, heterogeneous population.  Higher education is key to reversing the poverty cycle that imprisons capable people from generation to generation, enriching their lives, and empowering them, Israel and the world.

Contributions towards specific programs are welcome. Please note which program you would like to support on your check or accompanying letter. If you choose to contribute online using the Google Donate button below, please email us to designate a specific program. Whether you are contributing to OUF for the first time or you have supported us in the past, we thank you on behalf of OUI and the thousands of students that need your help to protect Israel's future.

• Scholarships for Israel Defense Force Soldiers, Ultra-Orthodox, Ethiopian immigrants
• Jewish and Israel Studies Program in the Former Soviet Union
• Leading-edge Technologies for PE'ER to expand internet course offerings
• Beit Daniel Cultural Center, located in Zichron Ya'akov, offering master classes, focused workshops, interdisciplinary enrichment programs, and plans for music and art programs for underprivileged youth
• Center for the Study and Teaching of Genocide and the Holocaust

Matching Gifts

Many employers sponsor matching gifts programs whereby they match employee charitable contributions. If your company participates in such a program, please check the appropriate place on OUF's donation form (see link below) and enclose a completed matching gift form from your employer with your contribution. Once received, we will follow through.
